I tried taking out some of the eucalyptus before brewing, which was better, but still too strong. I really like the grapefruit and other citrus flavors in this tea, but the eucalyptus is very strong and I didn't like the aftertaste from that. I've only ever made Pink Flamingo as a 1 gallon jug of cold brew and it doesn't last long! The flavor is a mellow sweetness with an interesting, mild punch of earthiness in a.almost like a tumeric tea kind of way. It is hands down the best iced tea we have ever had, sweet, fruity, tangy, delicious!!ĭelightful! The smell in the bag wallops you with joy. We took our first sip and were blown away. I added 1/4 c of sugar and lots of ice to the carafe before brewing. We used our Ninja Hot & Cold Brew system to brew this tea over ice. It’s very citrusy (grapefruit notes seemed strongest) and the eucalyptus compliments well. Smelled great when I first opened it and the flavor didn’t disappoint! Quite refreshing hot, and I’m sure even more so as iced tea. I love to make it really strong and then add coconut milk, dehydrated strawberries, stevia and ice and it tastes just like the Starbucks pink drink! My favorite summer drink.
It’s very good in the summer hot or iced. This is one of my favorite teas! I love the unique citrus flavor combination. This tea would have benefited from more apple/carrot/maybe even mango as well to help round out the flavors better.įavorite Summer Drink- tastes like Sbux Pink Drink The large amount of lemongrass added makes the tea extremely acidic and it needs some sugar to help rebalance. The citrus fruits would have had enough acidity on their own, already almost too much. I thought this tea would be better than it actually is. I definitely won't be purchasing this again. It tastes like a tomato vine smells as well. When I opened the package it smelled like tomato vines.
Wish there were more! I like the taste of tea & the taste of fruit-I don’t want it overpowered by weird fake flavoring. One of the only teas in David’s summer lineup without artificial flavoring.
